We'd like to thank all of you who came out to 1560 The Game's SlapFest III event last night. It was a gigantic success; we're not sure what the actual fire code limit on people inside The Bus is, but we are pretty sure that there was at least double the maximum occupancy.

Thanks to Chance and Frank for bringing us out to the event, and thank you to John Granato, Sean Pendergast, John Harris, Lance Zeirlein, Raheel Ramzanalli and Kyle "The Taskmaster" for showing us such a great time. We look forward to doing more events with the best radio station in Houston!

On Friday, August 22nd, we're going to be joining our good friends from 1560 The Game for their one year anniversary party...also known as SlapFest 3!

We'll be playing at halftime of the Texans/Cowboys game, and then doing a full set after the SlapFest takes place. What's SlapFest? Well, two men stand across from each other and slap each other until one man gives up. It's going to be a blasty blast.

So come join us at The Bus (across from Minute Maid Park) for SlapFest. Entry to SlapFest and the concert are free, but you must be wearing a 1560 The Game t-shirt! The shirts are available at Academy for $7.

We were overwhelmed at how many of you joined us for the release of Bright Nights, Bright Lights! So, let us take the time to say it again...thank you SO MUCH for coming out and making it a night we'll never forget. All of you rule!

We had a band meeting last night. Like most times we have a band meeting, we decided that convening at an eatery of some type was in our best interest, so we met up at Central Texas BBQ in Pearland, which is kinda close to Bryan and not close at all to the rest of us. In all fairness, he does drive to Katy twice a week, every week, so he deserves to stay close to home.

The point of our meeting? Not just great Texas BBQ, although that was an important factor.

Our album came in yesterday!



Yep, 8 shiny boxes arrived from Discmakers, and inside those boxes were 1,063 copies of Bright Nights, Bright Lights goodness. More than a year after we started working on the songs that would make up the album, we finally had it in our hands.

This Saturday night, YOU will be able to hold it in your hands. Come join us at Live Sports Cafe at the corner of Preston and Main in downtown Houston and be among the first to get your copy!

We've got promotional banners available in our Images section. These are for you to use on your MySpace/Facebook/Virb profiles (or your blog), and also for you to help us promote the CD release on May 31st! Go ahead and post them on the comments of every single friend you have -- they won't mind!

We're happy to finally release our little baby into the world!

Our first full-length album, "Bright Nights, Bright Lights" will be available on Saturday, May 31st. We'll have a CD release party at Live Sports Cafe in downtown Houston where you can buy the record, and we'll also have it available at our subsequent shows. You'll also be able to buy it on CD Baby and in digital format on iTunes, Napster and other fine MP3 dealers.
